TRIVIS
cP+ is a rheological
modifier which quickly enhances low shear rate viscosity
(LSRV) properties for the POLYPHRON ICS™ fluid
technology. Good LSRV properties combined with POLYPHRON's
can be used to reduce formation damage, lost circulation,
promote borehole stability and eleminate bridges,
fill and barite settling.
TRIVIS cP+ is normally used
as an adjunct to TRIVIS.
When mixed with oils or oil base muds, it functions
to stabilize POLYPHRON's.
Addition of TRIVIS cP+ in non-aqueous
fluids results in LSRV invasion control properties
which promotes enhanced performance of non-aqueous
drilling, workover and completion fluids. Where
TRIVIS cP+ is used to help stabilize
POLYPHRON's,
fluid loss and formation invasion is dramatically
reduced. TRIVIS cP+ can be used
in POLYPHRON
fluids with excellent results in drilling highly
permeable, low-pressure depleted zones.

Applications
TRIVIS cP+ rheological modifier is recommended
in concentrations of 1.0 - 5.0 pounds per barrel
for use in most oils or synthetics. Lower concentrations
may be effective where it is used to enhance LSRV
in OBM or SBM.
TRIVIS cP+ can
be added directly to the oils or OBM through a mud
hopper. Although TRIVIS cP+ readily yields in most
non-aqueous fluids, care should be taken to add
TRIVIS cP+ slowly. TRIVIS
cP+ will continue to yield for several
hours, use care to avoid over treating.
TRIVIS cP+ is compatible
with most non-aqueous fluids including crude oil,
diesel, mineral oil, vegetable oil and synthetics.
It is also effective in oil base muds (OBM) and
synthetic base muds (SBM).
