POLYPHRON
ICS™
The
POLYPHRON ICS™ system is an all oil drilling,
completion or workover fluid. It has been formulated
as an invert as well. This particular fluid has
not yet been field tested and we are actively seeking
quality field trials for it.
A
typical POLYPHRON ICS™
system formulation is:

The system has been
formulated using the following base oils:
- Diesel
Low-Tox Mineral oils
Paraffin's
-
Synthetics
NOTE:
Weighting agents such as calcium carbonate
and barite have been used. We often recommend the
use of specifically sized calcium carbonate for
the purpose of minimizing initial pressure transfer
associated with exposing low pressure formations
to high annular pressures during the drilling process.
