Aphronizer B
Aphronizer
B is
a is a co-associating polymer for enhancing the
shells structure of aphrons used in APHRON ICS™
waterbase fluid technologies. When used in conjunction
with Aphronizer
A and
Plastisizer the resultant aphrons show
significant resistance to compression as well as
improved sealing performance when compared to our
first generation aphrons built with Blue
Streak alone.

Applications
Initial treatment of APHRON ICS™
waterbase fluid technologies with Aphronizer
B is typically with 0.5 pounds per barrel.
Once the system has stabilized additional Aphronizer
B should be added at a 1.0 : 0.5 pounds
per barrel ratio (Blue
Streak to Aphronizer
B) until a 12 - 14 % by volume aphron
concentration is achieved in the circulating system.
