Applications
ActiVator
I is a specialty additive designed to improve
aphron structure stability and decrease low-shear-rate-viscosity
thermal degradation. It can be added as a dry powder
directly through a mud hopper and is commonly used
at a concentrations of 2.0 pounds per barrel.Advantages

Limitations
ActiVator
I is highly hygroscopic. It will pick up
moisture from the atmosphere readily if precautions
are not taken to keep the product containers closed.
If moisture is allowed to contact ActiIVator
I, the product will react with the moisture
and harden into a solid block.See
